We’re looking for a reliable, friendly Part-Time Shopkeeper to help keep our shop running smoothly on Sundays. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cookbooks, retail, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Open and close the shop on Sundays. 
  • Greet and assist customers as needed.
  • Light cleaning and tidying, including:
    • Wiping down shelves
    • Restocking books and merchandise
    • Pull online orders
    • Take out trash
    • Cleaning windows, sweeping floors, etc.

Schedule & Pay

  • Pay: $18/hour (W2 Employee)
  • Hours: Sundays, 11:45 AM–5:15 PM (5.5 hours). 
  • Frequency: Every Sunday of each month excluding holidays and closures
  • Paid: Via direct deposit

Shop Closures (no shifts):

  • Easter Sunday
  • First two weekends of July
  • Weekend after Christmas through the first two weekends in January
  • Closed on the Sunday before Memorial Day and Labor Day
  • Inclement weather
